Important information for safe use:

Chef's knife:

• Cleaning: Clean the knives by hand with warm water and mild dish soap. Avoid harsh cleaning agents to protect the blade.
• Storage: Use knife blocks, magnetic strips, or blade protectors for safe storage and avoid contact with other metal objects to prevent damage to the blade.
• Transport: When transporting the knives, secure packaging must be chosen to avoid injuries and damage.

Outdoor knives:

• Responsible use: These knives are designed for outdoor use. Use them only for their intended purpose, such as camping or hunting.
• Transport: Always store the knife in a suitable sheath to avoid accidents and injuries.
• Safety: Always keep the knives away from children. Make sure no one is in the immediate vicinity when using them.
• Care: Dry the blade thoroughly after cleaning and oil it occasionally to prevent corrosion.

Axes and hatchets:

• Handling: Axes and hatchets are powerful tools. Always use a secure work surface and ensure no one is in the direction of impact.
• Sharp edges: Wear a protective cap over the blade when transporting and store the axe safely.
• Care: Keep the metal rust-free and treat wooden handles with oil or wax to prevent cracking.

Grinding machines:

• Protective measures: Always wear protective goggles and gloves if necessary to avoid injuries from abrasive particles.
• Air circulation: Use sanders only in well-ventilated areas and with suitable dust collectors.
• Electrical safety: Use the machines only with the specified voltage and avoid contact with water.
• Heat protection: Longer sanding processes generate heat. Allow workpieces to cool before handling them.

Saws:

• Stable guidance: Work with a secure grip and firm guidance of the saw to avoid injuries and jamming.
• Protective clothing: Use suitable gloves and safety goggles.
• Care: Keep the saw blades sharp and clean them after each use to prevent jamming.
• Electric saws: Make sure the cable is not in the work area and check the machine for damage before each use.

Planer:

• Sharp blades: Avoid skin contact with the cutting edge. Always keep your fingers away from the blade.
• Safe work: Work with even pressure and secure workpiece fixation.
• Care: Keep the planer blade sharp and clean the tool regularly.

Chisel:

• Protection: Place protective caps on the cutting edges when the tool is not in use.
• Usage: Use a firm surface and use the chisel precisely to avoid slipping.
• Care: Keep the blades sharp and dry.

Scissors:

• Sharp blades: Use scissors only for their intended purpose.
• Storage: Store scissors safely and out of reach of children.
• Cleaning: Keep the blades clean and oil the joints occasionally.

Workbenches:

• Stability: Make sure the workbench is on a stable surface.
