The Pax 1776 dovetail saw is the flagship product of the renowned handsaw manufacturer Thomas Flinn & Co. Manufactured to the same high standards as over 200 years ago, this saw combines tradition with modern craftsmanship. The brass back keeps the saw blade under tension, providing excellent rigidity and balance. The weight of the brass back supports the Pax saw's outstanding cutting performance.
The traditional open handle is made of walnut and features solid brass slotted screws and a medallion. Each saw is hand-sharpened and inspected to ensure the highest quality.
Available in Ripcut (for cuts along the wood grain) or Crosscut (for cuts across the wood grain).
